New capabilities
Heat Load & Ventilation Zones
You can now create Heat Load and Ventilation Zones in h2x. Zones are the foundation for designing loads and airflow systems, making it easier than ever to design and calculate HVAC systems in h2x.
New capabilities available in your account:
- Create zones by selecting rooms in the canvas
- Modify zones to change which rooms belong to a zone at any time.
- Run zone simulations for heat gain and heat loss calculations at the zone level.
- Adjust zone design conditions like summer/winter indoor temperatures and relative humidities per zone.
Note that these are only available on the Heat Balance Method (Early Access). Go to
Project Settings > Methods > Heat Gain Calculation Method > Heat Balance Method Energy Plus (Early Access)
to use these capabilities. Go to Floor Plan Mode > Zones > Edit Zones to start creating zones.
