Feature Requests

I would like the ability to size the DHW cylinder through H2X given that it knows how many fixtures have been connected to the domestic circuit. If you could choose the building use type for demand factor, such as residential, commercial (sports centre, school, etc) the total hot water demand could be calculated along with the kW required to heat the cylinder using the difference between the cold water temp and output hot water temp required.

Plant room modelling Drawing in 2d/3d in different planes other than plan view. ie be able to draw looking at a wall rather than looking down at the floor. To alleviate where a lot of pipework is on the same wall but is stacked on the plan view and unusable. Be able to adjust inlets/outlets of plant to realistic site positions.

Prevent transit pipes overlapping, and make it easier to add heated area partitions.

When I using the floor plan mode to create rooms, sometimes I find it difficult to trace the room layout as the "room" that I creating is opaque and block the visibility of the pdf layout. I will move away my cursor to see where the next corner is. Would be nice if we could add a feature to reduce opacity or simply make it 60/70% opaque that would be nice.

Add abiltity to create custom floor systems inc, Materials, TOG's, max temps, etc. for UFH

When on site, some installers like to measure there circuits out, which helps them where to start and finish each looping pattern. I recently requested the option to have dimensions of walls and areas illustrated on designs, but having the physical dimensions illustrated on circuits would be great and a feature I know that nobody else does :) - always nice to have a bespoke feature.

I have recently carried out a design with an open plan area, that was 140m2 and wherever I placed the Manifold, I was always exceeding the maximum of 12 circuits. When I tried to add a second manifold and partition loops, and then allocate circuits equally over the 2 manifolds it wouldn't work and only one Manifold would generate loops. Having the ability of having multiple manifolds in one area, should be a standard option with UFH designs.
