Ability to add MVHR that allows you to input the efficiency without the need to turn on heating/cooling as this isn't required for most MVHR. You can currently do this by using the "percentage of ventilation heat loss recovered" under the calculation method settings but this won't work in projects where you have multiple MVHR or different ventilation system within the project. I have detailed this explanation in my email to Martins (CC Michael and Jordan) dated 10/11/2025

As we do a lot of residential schemes, it would be good if there was a library of plastic ductwork and fittings which included sizes 204x60mm and 220x90mm.

Having a way to calculate the air throw across the room when using wall grilles, that would be a fantastic feature, currently, we’re working that out manually

Would love to see room transfer ducts for return air

Currently grilles and diffusers can't be referenced like AHUs. This would assist in providing mark-ups for drafting. This reference should show up instead of the green diffuser text that is currently shown. Maybe these references could be auto populated as they are placed.

Include flat oval ducts into the ductwork sizing. Currently only square and circular ducts are included.

I would like the ability for H2X to help me size ventilation grilles from a manufacturer, similar to how it can size radiators from Stelrad for example. I guess it would just require the manufacturer's data to be available and then H2X could use the calculation results to show a list of available grilles that ensure you meet the dB and flow rate figures accordingly.

Automatic selection and placement of fittings to align with DW-144 in ductwork

In many of our projects, we have hybrid (smoke/ normal) or dedicated smoke ventilation ductwork. The calculation depends on the different fire scenarios and fire zones (dictating which grilles will open in every scenario)

Enable an “OR” option within the ventilation calculation method for occupiable office rooms, in line with Part F. Fresh air should be calculated based on whichever yields the higher rate: 10 L/s per person or 1 L/s per m². Currently these would be added together when selected.
